Reflection - Dead Stars

 Dead Stars

by: Paz Marquez-Benitez

It was so enticing to me in a way that aligned with how I value time that I have learned a lesson here. It has appeal because of the figurative depiction of time. It uses metaphorical language in such a way that some individuals can actually understand what it is saying. It portrays Alfredo Salazar's situation, where he was an elderly man yet engaged to be married. Don Julian, Alfredo's father, said it as they were speaking with Carmen, Alfredo's sister.

This tale teaches us the value of time and the repercussions of wasting it. Additionally, it teaches us that time is more valuable than anything else in the world. In the end, time itself will be used to accumulate memories and experiences that will shape human personality for all of time.
